We've run out of ways for people to be their own unique individuals. No, it's NOT that at all actually. It's more like people want to be unique individuals but they DON'T want me to put in the work and effort that comes with thinking for themselves, with finding that purpose though it often is a long hard struggle... and it's SUPPOSED to be like that. But people want to be unique now now now. And so they take the fast and dirty route by becoming "alternative lifestyles" or excessive surgery or SJWs or whatever.
Why is it that these kinds of people only seem to turn up in ahem... "civilized society"? Never in places where people are doing what they can to make it to the next day, finding something to eat or for their kids to eat and sometimes just staying alive by evading ISIS etc.?
It's because those people don't have time to try to be "unique" or "have purpose". They HAVE that already. More than most in our own country, even.
This "Barbie" thing, her whole purpose in life is apparently to scream out "HEY I'M A LIFE SIZE BARBIE DOLL BECAUSE I'M TOO MUCH OF A LOSER TO WANT TO MAKE ANYTHING REAL OF MY YEARS ON THIS EARTH! BUT I MATTER TOOOOOOO!! LOVE ME DAMMIT!!"
