He seems like a great guy.

Two of the worst Bond movies and his character didn’t help.

I thought he died years ago.

He was great in the Bond movies.

We’re getting a few hardball comments on these Bond movies.

It’s not as if the 60’s and 70’s Bond movies were state of the art accuracy in technology, storytelling and fieldcraft. Hell, to me the worst Bond film of them all is still Octopussy.

I have fond memories of Live and Let Die and Man With the Golden Gun. They are not awful Bond movies, they just have awful moments and some awful characters. Just like every Connery and Moore Bond films.

The boat chase in Live and Let Die is one of the best ever filmed.

Ha!

“Live and Let Die” is, by far, my favorite Bond movie. Best theme song too.

To each his own...

Then there was M.E. Clifton James, the British actor who served as Gen. Bernard Montgomery’s double in North Africa in 1943 and whose deception hoaxed the Nazis.

Come to think of it I never heard him yell or raise his voice ever. “Don’t worry, we’ll get it” was the sort of thing he’s said a lot.
