I got off easy. On a flight home, they locked the doors early causing me to miss my flight last year. I was very angry with them.

Now I am thankful, it could have been so much worse.

A long time ago on Korea Air Lines (KAL) I was treated like a king. I only had to think of something and three people were rushing to get it for me. And that was in coach.

You can not lock someone in a commercial airliner, there are NO door locks except to the flight deck, and they only lock from inside.

She was left on the plane, big difference.

She was flying blind with no assistance?

Well what do you know, I found the article on the internet and it appears "being abandoned" on the plane was a slight exaggeration.

She said she was stuck for 10 minutes,......LOL!

I think I’ve identified a pattern. It may be more of a “Chicago” problem, more than simply a United problem. Sure the airline sucks, and the CEO is a tool, but Chicago has a lot of entitled blm types that may be causing these crazy problems. Just a personal theory..
