There is no language in the Maine constitution that limits the pardon power to just people.

Nor should there be. The very idea of having laws extend to non-humans is asinine.

“That breed seems pre-disposed to malicious mischief.

Overall, people tend think I’m a monster for that opinion.

I find that they lash out at kids a lot because of the whole locking gaze thing. It’s easy to lock gaze with them, they are gorgeous animals.

But nasty too. And way overprotective. I’ve had better luck with pit bulls in the family situation than Huskies. All dogs are “protective” but a Husky will attack a toddler running to it’s master and that is enough .. right there... to forbid them from my presence.

I have to side with the court in this case.

It is one thing if the dog had been in his own yard. But breaking out to attack another dog? There is something wrong.

My mother’s neighbor’s dog was attacked and torn up badly by a Siberian husky who leaped the neighbor’s fence and attacked the little poodle while she was just laying on the ground between the neighbor and her husband. The Siberian’s owners gave it away to people who lived on a farm. On the farm, the Siberian killed a bunch of ducks. I don’t know what happened to it after that, but I imagine it was put down at last. I never trust Siberian huskies.

I myself have had two female Siberian huskies, and they were always good natured, though a bit rambunctious. Maybe that husky actually had wolf ancestry, which would explain the aggressiveness.

That breed seems pre-disposed to malicious mischief.

Nonsense, a dog's behavior is predicated on its training by the owner...........

Did those huskies come from a reputable breeder, or a pat store or puppy mill? I ask because the first is usually concerned about maintained good qualities, such as gentle temperament, while the others don’t.
