The Most Infuriating Movie Endings Of All Time
YouTube ^ | March 27, 2017 | Looper

There's nothing quite as frustrating as a bad movie ending. Failure to stick that landing in the final act can totally ruin an otherwise great film, or give us one more reason to hate one that was already a dud. Here's a look at some of the most annoying movie endings in recent memory. And it should go without saying, but spoilers ahead…

The Matrix Revolutions | 0:23
X-Men: The Last Stand | 0:59
Signs | 1:44
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 | 2:43
Now You See Me | 3:27
I Am Legend | 4:15
Man of Steel | 5:14
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King | 6:06

2001 A Space Odyssey - The Aliens at the end decide to play Acid Trip Mind games for 2+ hours.

Contact - Another ending where the aliens decide to play Acid Trip mind games. Plus Uuuummmm why have hearings and argue about if what she experienced was real or not, just run the dam thing again and see if the same thing happens!!! And No You can’t fake a signal from Vega, didn’t you ever hear of Triangulation?

Close Encounters of the Third Kind: Yep, Aliens at the end deciding to play Acid Trip Mind games once again!!!

Return of the Jedi: No acid trip mind games yeah, but booo the Ewoks. Plus the Emperor who is suppose to be slick didn’t really make a case for why you would want to join the dark side. “You don’t know the Power of the Dark Side”, well OK, but what else??

If you want a genuinely infuriating ending, watch the Franklin Boys Town Scandal documentary.

Now there’s an ending that needs to be rewritten, if ever there was one.

The only way for a movie based on a book to have a bad ending is if the movie doesn't end the same way as the book ... right?

If anyone doesn't like the end of "The Return of the King" they should take it up with J.R.R. Tolkien ... or maybe not, since he died years ago.

Haha, Spiderman 3 definitely was cringe-worthy, especially when the ‘bad’ Peter Parker goes to the nightclub trying to be ‘bad boy’ cool, snapping his fingers. I was actually embarrassed for Toby Maguire having to do that scene.

BB stuck to the story from moment one to the last moment, and the title was absolutely perfect.

No Country for Old Men. I really liked the movie. (YES, THE ALL-TIME BEST, MOST INTIMIDATING VILLAIN EVER!)

But, geeze Louise, the ending(s) was exhausting. It ended like what, 3 times?

Then don’t watch Jupiter Ascending where Mia Kunis realizes she is the reincarnated ruler of the universe and happily goes back to scrubbing toilets.

The best thing about this thread is that I saw hardly any of the movies that people are complaining about. LOL.

“Requiem for a Dream” was pretty bad too.

The "talkie" version of The Wizard of Oz, from 1939, concludes by portraying the whole story as being merely a dream--an utterly lame cop-out that I have found infuriating since I saw the movie for the first time on a black-and-white television in 1959.

The ending of ‘’Old Yeller’’ will scar a kid for life.

Yep. Garbage. They even called to super duper mineral found only on that planet “unobtainium”.

Yeah, probably. But they could have crafted an "open-ended" finale that was also a satisfying narrative.

I like ambiguity in stories, but in this case, it was overdone.

A Perfect Mind.

But to be fair, the entire movie stunk!

Except maybe "The Sopranos."

The Sopranos ending was pure genius, and if you follow closely, you know exactly what happened.

They are. I read a little while back that ticket sales are at lowest levels since the 1920s.

The problem is China is bailing out Hollywood with the caveat that they start adding Chicom propaganda.

Remember how the Red Dawn remake was butchered? Or how the last Transformers movie, Arrival, and the Martian all showed China as the guys who save the day?

Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry ended with them crashing into a train at a crossing....................I particularly hate it because I had two friends, a man and his wife were killed that exact way that same year................

Yea, when the guy could have avoided all of it by simply going back to his truck and driving away, leaving no clues as to who took the money.
