Several people have compared Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch with former Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
Senator Dianne Feinstein tried to draw a contrast between the two men on the Second Amendment, but was unable to do so.

"M-16 rifles and the like" does not have the same meaning as "rifles like the M-16." It means the same as "M-16 rifles, grenades, rocket launchers, squad machine guns, and the like." The Senator tried to get him to interpret what the common idiom "and the like" means, but he would have none of it. Good for him.
If Justice Scalia had meant "rifles like the M-16," he would have written that. He did not.

I said on another thread, as this is true, McConnell should take a page out of the Dim playbook and “deem” Gorsuch approved.
I hope they try the filibuster on this one so they get nuked. Makes the process easy for the next judge and then we can have another conservative
