...‘Sorry, but if you are overweight, pedicures will be $45 due to service fees for pedicurists. Thank you!’

One angry woman from Memphis shared it online declaring it to be ‘So rude!’. Rose Nails, which usually charges just $20 for the procedure, was confronted by local TV.

Do fat people have extra toes and fingers?

No, just more toe jam.

At least they pay for the greater amount of food they eat.”

You apparently have never been to a Golden Corral buffet in Texas. Last time we were there saw one really huge lady put away four plates of food in the time it took us to consume a plate full of salad, a few ribs and a couple of vegetables. After that she was off to the dessert bar for a chocolate sundae and fudge brownies. At least she didn’t appear old enough to get the senior discount.

Have also recently seen some clothing sized “to fit most” instead of the old “fits all”.

Only if you eat at such places. The restaurants I have been in serve the same portions to behemoths as to runts. If you want more they have larger portions listed for appropriate additional charge.
Back in the eighties a Sweden House Buffet opened her. I took the family a couple of times. The food was very good and the price was higher than, say Waffle House, but it was all-you-can-eat. After a year or so I would be riding to work past the place half an hour before opening and would see thirty or forty walruses lined up at the door. Skinny people quit going there because it is intimidating being the only gazelles in a room full of elephants. They raised their prices often as the clientele changed and finally closed up. Now there are several Chinese buffets but they will cut you off if you grossly overdo it. Sometimes the girls in Chow Time will tell an eater that they can’t have any more because the insurance won’t cover it. The help is all Chinese and don’t do English well which helps when dealing with customers who demand $60 dollars worth of food for their $11 fares.

Fat people take up more space. They are the WORST in airlines. They sort of spill over their seats onto others. So annoying. The adjacent passengers should be given a discount for their seats are now being taken over by the fats of the fat customers.

Last time I flew I tried to buy the seat next to me, full-fare, because I'm "big boned". The airline refused to sell it to me.

Go whine at them.

I went to the local GC once. My wife induced me to go there with her church group. Never again. Nowhere not afflicted by famine is the food worth waiting in line for 45 minutes just to get in the door without even strippers or jazz combo. I assume it is good food and a good price for it but not for the wait. I would rather go to Waffle House.

Thankfully the waitress wasn’t fired and the establishment sued for their offensive cacomorphobia.
= = = = = = = = = =
I would imagine this was before we all managed to get ‘hurt’ by some innocent comment.

The waitress probably wasn’t a wisp of a thing and would imagine all said in good fun, with a hardy laugh by all.

‘Back in the day’ I didn’t visit the office very often but when I did I managed to have something ‘cute’ to say to all.
Nothing malicious nor innuendos, one of the ‘girls’ said I was getting to ‘personal’..

Got to be where I had to spend more time in the office (than I wanted to) and I wouldn’t say hello unless you said it first, no comments, no idle talk or ‘chit-chat’, just a stern business face and keep on moving.

SAME person said I was creating a ‘hostile work place’ (or whatever it was called then) by acting ‘cold’ around everyone.

The Owner(s) figured I was more valuable to the company than her as she wasn’t there within a week.

I don’t see the problem. If fat people cost more to serve, charge them more.

1. Fat people need to quit their whining.
2. Non-fat people need to quit their hateful crap.

But charging more because of higher costs to serve? Where’s the problem?

Not only do they squeeze the neighbors out of their own seats but they resent that the neighbor’s body parts are making the fat person uncomfortable, you know like your nose is denting his arm and your glasses are making an imprint on his skin. Many Pachydermal citizens have bad attitudes on airplanes to begin with because they think the plane should be made with all 30 inch seats because one or two extra large seats would be insulting and charge not one cent more for a ticket. I have heard these arguments and watched people made very miserable by being seated between two of them. I have not had that misfortune myself.

GC has good food IMO, nothing fancy. We go maybe twice a year, dil doesn’t join us when we do, however. Went to Waffle House once and absolutely could not stand the smell. We just rarely eat out - costs too much and food is not that enjoyable. When we do, usually Chic-Fil-A.

I have always believed that airline ticket prices should be per pound. Weigh each person with all his luggage, everything that is going aboard attached to that person and per pound him. Considering the other costs that are not so weight related, a base price per ticket with an additional per pound charge. That sort of pricing would justify a mix of seat widths.

Someone probably got sued for putting “fits all” on their merchandise.

It was a ludicrous claim.

I also don’t do drive-thrus. Otherwise I would patronize Chid-Fil-A. Wife brings home stuff from there occasionally and I enjoy it. She is retired and I am drawing SS and working. No debts. No mortgage or rent. We eat out a lot.

Next month I am getting a Fat Lady Cruiser bike.

My wife insists it’s a Lady Fat Cruiser bike but I told her not mine.
