And a defibrillator.

I’m 49 in two months and I have no right to NOT have diabetes the way I’ve eaten for 25 years.

Every time the doctors says no diabetes I’m shocked.

Time to stop pressing the luck.

Shared driveway place

A young couple both lawyers

They called and said ugh Hunter is here....lol....my wife was so embarrassed

A couple of inches now, and coming down at an angle now, with a bit more gusto.

updated weather channel forecast made me laugh as they got a whole lot less cute with the accumulation forecast.

They went from inches to "you're gonna get 1-2 feet"

heavy dusting as of 0300 in Manhattan - city delightfully quiet. Streets going to be filled with people tomorrow. will be one big party. The teenager will be sledding with his buddies all day.

I suspect that is from Russia.

My third born was a wanderer. He would break away from his brothers and me ...and go wandering off, on his own. Gave me heart-failure many times.

Down here in Annapolis Maryland. Freezing rain mix for now but it will be all rain by dawn thanks to the Chesapeake Bay.

My daughter and grand-kids are in Dansville and I’ll likely be heading up in the next 10 days - hope it has come/gone/melted by then. Grew up in Rochester but haven’t had much cause to drive in snow/slush/sleet/salt-bath for decades.

It’s starting to pick up pace. Snow is coming down, pretty good now. Couple inches as I wake at 6:30am.

Glad I’m stocked up and in. Glad I got two bucks of gas for the snowblower last night before it started.

Just north of Portland, Maine, and it just started, lightest of flakes in the air. We are in one of those “deep pink” spots that the forecasters say will get the most accumulation. We’ll see, and in any event, not an unusual amount of snow even for this time of year.

What is predicted? Maine is one of my favorite states. We vacation there every year. This time, the entire month of August!

Weather Underground says 12+, National Weather Service says 18-24. A respectable storm to be sure, anything over 8 inches is respectable, worth taking at least simple precautions. We have backup heat source good for a couple days, gas for the snowblower, food for the critters.

I like Maine too. Moved here from Southern Michigan about 30 years ago. Weather is similar, milder here in Maine, and I like the varied geography.

That’s the same prediction for NY-NJ! All these years visiting in Maine, I finally went into Portland last year to take a look around and pick up some sandwiches at D’Amatos. They had a wonderful farmer’s market going on that day.
