I can't distinguish between angry and scared, anymore. (vanity)

The more the scandals left by Obama are unraveling the more I am conflicted between anger and fear over what is in our future.

It is bad enough (and not completely unexpected) to learn that Obama has been working harder to destroy our country that we thought.

But, the depth of his support in the media is in my opinion, in need of far more exposure and very serious punishment.

This story is over three weeks old. Yet the scurrilous media is continuing to hide it if possible and down play it if they can't.

And the questions behind it all go so deep it should be the prime point of investigation in congressional investigations. I hope to GOD it is a top priority in the Trump administration.

Evil is not just a concept, and has been with us since the beginning of man. If our primary reality is the ‘World’ as Jesus called it, then we will always be filled with anger and fear. Worse, we will be perpetuating it even as we try to solve it. If we are not anchored in ‘The World’ ... then we will know what to do.

I hope Trump is doing more than he lets on.

He can’t just come out and say things because the media is his (and our) enemy.

I can only think that during his meetings he will say something like “We need to put these people in jail” and someone says “Yes, but if we do that now they’ll explode a nuke”

Because there is no other reason that they shouldn’t be in jail unless they have a dead mans switch that powerful.

This is why term limits are good. Good to flush the system every few years otherwise the scoundrels get established and start to do bad things.

Kind of a pessimistic analysis of human nature. But realistic. Which made the founders of our country truly wonderful — they designed a system of government that keeps the scoundrels.

I follow, but how do we initiate term limits for the media that tries to sweep stuff this important under the rug?

Because they are ignorant, biased, and will never learn. Instability is the trick. Or marginal stability. It can slow things up a bit when you need to get things done but it will also slow things up when a tyrant tries to impose his ideas on the citizenry.

And term limits apply to Republicans as well. Power corrupts all.

Think of all the reporters whose lives are under the thumbs of the Clintons and Obamas. They rule like a Mafia over our government and the media. Many hearts will thank us when these corrupt are brought to justice.

Term limits for elected officials does nothing to deter the career bureaucrats building their all powewrful fiefdoms.

Trump is relatively powerless to remove anyone under civil service protection.

I’m not sure that eliminating the civil service rules would be an improvement. It certainly would under a Trump or Reagan. Under an obama or a hillary, not so much.

And the MSM enthralled American people have not demonstrated the discernment skills to consistently vote wisely.

Let’s hope that he is successful. Better than if Obama was still in office?
