A disabled Navy veteran has a new ride a week after authorities said he was beaten by three men he confronted as they were torturing a turtle in Daytona Beach.

Doesn’t he receive VA disability?
Police arrested Ryan Ponder, 23, Johnnie Beveritt, 18 and and 16-year-old. Records show they face felony animal cruelty and aggravated battery charges.
Oh well, at least they might see some jail time.
The turtle was killed and you guessed it correctly if you thought (YOU THOUGHT RACIST) these evil punks were Sons of Obama.
Are you a turtle?
If he was injured in 1991 it may mean he has been on a waiting list for 26 years.
I started getting mine the same year I got out and went to college under Vocational Rehabilitation then too. That was 1983.

What's the point?
The article talks about him having to take a bus because he couldn’t afford a car.
Gary Blough
Ryan Ponder, 23, and Johnnie Beveritt, 18
Good story. Thanks.
I hope his eye heals.
Once again, another horribly written article..........I had to go over it three times to figure out what was what........
Is everyone on VA assistance able to afford a car? How do you know what bills he pays with his money?
Bet your sweet @$$ it’s the Internet.
There is a particular answer to that question that
I was looking for. I would be somewhat impressed if anyone
knew that response these days. No big deal at all.
Thumbs up for the company. And it doesn’t matter what color the creeps were. They shouldn’t have done it in the first place, and when he told them to stop, they just should have said “yes sir” and walked away. Or at any rate, if they weren’t that polite, they should have just dropped the turtle walked away. Race has nothing to do with this.
Two punks best viewed over open sights.
