Wrong side of the bloody continent

At least he had the right continent ... he could have shouted "Hello Vienna!!!"

Melbourne is in the south, next stop is Tazmania. Sydney is on the east coast north of Canberra. Like saying New Orleans is right next to DC.

I have a vinyl copy of their first e.p. when they were on the Uzi Suicide label, prior to signing with Geffen records. No idea what it’s worth today, but it’ll go way up in value after Axl eats himself to death.

Including the original alien rape’ artwork? Keep it, that’s gonna go up for sure. Here in Hollywood, I know all the apartments they were living before Appetite. The landlord of one of them I met years ago and he told me back in 86’, he would yell at Axl and Izzy to keep the noise down while in the parking lot, Duff and Slash would sell cheap booze to kids while they played their demos asking them “is it good dudes?” and those kids would give their opinions.

One of those buildings is beside the same apt complex where dave Mustaine lived and met Ellefson who lived upstairs. You could call it the Megadeth apartment complex.

That was the original artwork on Appetite for Destruction. I may have one of those as well. Gonna have to blow the dust off my old LPs and find out.

I see my map didn't survive the day before the hot link was blocked, so here's another try. Melbourne and Sydney are 500 miles apart, so no, it's not like New Orleans and DC, it's more like New Orleans and Jacksonville.

Would you say that Jacksonville was on the other side of the country from New Orleans?

Well, the original poster said that Melbourne was on the other side of the country from Sydney, which clearly it is not.

Found a fairly clean copy of this for $20 (seller was clueless) turned it around for $80 a couple weeks later on eBay. This was 2011.

Funny! I love RUSH, and they would open for others and do something like 250+ gigs in a year. I can see where a piece of masking tape would be helpful!

Holy sh*t. You sell that on Ebay you’re gonna be rich. That’s super rare. Hold on to it. :)
