Malia Obama is definitely keeping busy during her "gap year" before embarking on her college journey at Harvard. The 18 year old landed an internship with film producer Harvey Weinstein -- and it seems like it's officially in full swing.
The Weinstein team won't be disappointed, according to one famous reference. Lena Dunham said Obama was an "angel" intern on the set of "Girls" during the summer of 2015.
After her Sundance sighting in Utah in late January, President Obama's eldest daughter made her way to New York City, where she's been spotted out and about when she's not at the Weinstein office. We don't know about you, but we can't help but notice (and admire!) her new look.
Not only are we obsessed with her highlights (which Allure is calling the "blondest color we've ever seen on the six-foot-one beauty"), but we're loving her style, too. She's been keeping warm in the Big Apple in her go-to trendy purple coat, and that adorable boho-chic backpack has been going everywhere with her.
Malia's dad has been keeping busy since leaving the White House, too. He and Richard Branson have been sparking bromance rumors ever since Branson shared a video of them kitesurfing together.

The press should leave her alone. She and her sister have not looked happy for a long time.
If she becomes politically active then she will be fair game. But, for now, she should not be stalked, and she should be allowed to have her own private life.

People can think what they want about the Obama girls, but if they are both going to lead their own lives and stay well out of politics then more power to them.
