The fact is we do not know if it is true or not. People whose initial reaction is to defend Trump no matter what he does especially in this forum will always assume that he will do the right thing.
I don’t. I do not think it does our country or our President any good not to be vigilant even as we support his policies. It is possible for one’s policies to be right and yet, the implementation to be imperfect.
That said, I think there is much to be said about internal communication and the need to make those cabinet members responsible for its implementation AWARE of what is going on.

I think Trump’s intent was to follow through on his promise in short order. If it’s a threat, every hour counts. If it’s not, then why take the action at all.
