HELP TO SET DEFAULT BROWSER
me | 1/22/2017 | me

I have set my default browser as Firefox (I know, I know) but when I click on a link from my Outlook 2010 (I know, I know) it opens up with a notice on which browser I want to use. I click on "always use this browser, hit OK". But, if I click on it again it will come up with the same notice. How can I get rid of this notice?

Try here.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new

Also set up a FireFox Account. Synch and Save Forefox should solve your default browser problem.

Sorry for my above response. That’s not what you need.

The only reason I don’t have this same problem: I don’t click on stuff in emails! :)

Outlook 2010...maybe it’s too old to change.

This is what I have had and change scares me. Plus, I really don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to computers. My son, far more knowledgeable about computers, got tired and frustrated trying to fix it and left. I’m at sea.

I used to like Opera — but in June last year it was sold — to China!

Got rid of Mozilla Thunderbird years ago because of problems with email that we couldn’t get resolved.
