During the 2008 presidential campaign, I flew the flag of the state of Alaska to honor the VP candidate. I have not flown a flag since.
Today, I made an online purchase for a new 4 x 6 American flag to go on a silver pole with gold ball on top.
Friday morning, as I go out the door early to make the trip to DC to attend the Inauguration event I will place the flag up.
Yesterday in church, my memories went back to 1992 and the election of Clinton. When I arrived at the office that Wednesday morning, my secretary asked "What are we going to do?" I replied "We are going to pray"
I will be flying the flag as a tribute to our prayers being answered in this season.
My flag has been furled since Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009.
It will come out of the closet and go up the flag pole at noon when we once again have a legitimate President.
Amen. Alleluia!
I flew mine on Nov. 9, 2016 for the first time since the Muslim occupation and it will be flying at first light on Friday!
I wish I had a 48 states flag.
I flew the Bonnie Blue flag since all of the cr@p over the Confederate flag and then on November 9th, I put the flag of the United States of America out in front of my home.
I have a 48 star that was flown over the US Capitol, and a 50 star flag sent to me by Rep Joe Wilson (also flown over the Capitol).
Haven’t decided which needs to fly on that magnificent day.
On Friday, when I return from the Inauguration, my Gadsden flag will come down (after eight dreadful years), and the Stars and Stripes will go back up. Thank God!
Same here, been furled on the pole in the hall closet all these years waiting for noon this Friday. Finally!
Trump was born on flag day, and there were only 48 states then, so I think it would be appropriate.
I fly my flag EVERY day!!
I plan to fly the American flag, with pride.
I also...with one exception:
The 2nd Monday of January
Self-evident.
I will take no steps to honor in any way, a race-baiting serial adulterer with communist tendencies and sympathies.
I saw your post and I had to check. I didn’t know that his birthday was June 14th. Turns out the President and my dad share the same birthday!!
Me too Don. In their face, every day. Never have I forgotten our Soldiers. Police and First Responders. We live on a busy street and the flag is there to remind everyone who passes this is still AMERICA!
Thank God for his grace and mercy.
I intend to fly the flag on January 20 the way it should properly be flown on Memorial Day. That is, I plan to fly the flag at half staff from dawn until noon to show that I am in mourning for all the evil B. Hussein Obama has unleashed on our nation. At noon I will raise the flag to full staff to celebrate the passing of B. Hussein Obama into the ash can of history.
....and Kellyanne will be 50 years old on Jan. 20th!
I am sure liberals are sick to their stomachs!!
Our flag will be up Inauguration Day, as it was on Election Day and Primary Day. We’re also going to put our outdoor Christmas Star Shower light on the all red setting, starting tonight.
There’s something special about that 48 star flag, no disrespect to Alaska and Hawaii.
In the last year i moved into a place on my own and I’ve displayed a flag every day. Even when it mysteriously disappeared from in front of my home, I bought another and have it up inside my front window.
I want to give hope to others still unsure that USofA has a real good future. We are solid and sturdy and will not bow to those confused in what America stands for or outright trying to do our country harm.
We will not be shaken. We will not be moved. (see Psalm 16)
