In his final official call with the outgoing US Ambassador to Ireland Kevin O’Malley, President Obama said he’d be visiting Ireland again soon.
“The lasts sentence that the president said to me on Wednesday of this week when we were saying goodbye was ‘please tell ‘em I’m coming’,” Ambassador O’Malley told Marian Finucane in an interview on RTE Radio.
“So I think that’s the President’s way of saying informally that you’ll probably see him again.”
As for a time frame, O’Malley predicted “my guess is in the coming year or so.” …

It’s a 4-minute video of a member of the Irish Parliament, speaking in Parliament. She is denouncing Obama, and she is denouncing all those who bow and scrape before Obama.
She pulls no punches. It’s quite remarkable.
I hope this lady, Clare Daly, is still in Parliament, and is preparing for Round 2.
P.S. I’ve read that Daly is quite the leftie. That makes her speech all that more entertaining! Plus, she’s rather cute.

When I was younger, Clongriffin was undeveloped and just consisted of agricultural fields. It wasn’t even on the map.
