I wouldn’t watch Obama voluntarily on a bet.
I am working my way through old seasons of 24. It is around 6 am in Season 3 and Gael just died, MI-6 LA just got decimated, they can’t find the bad guy with the vials of deadly virus, and Chapelle is about to get killed just before 7 am.
I’ve’ never seen seasons 5, 6, or 7 so I hope one or more of them is good. I hear 24 went down hill and got even more far-fetched than when it was good (you have always had to take much of it with a grain of salt).
Never seen the movie either but they probably screwed that up.
You are very lucky to beat your dog at Parchesi. Dogs have been known to cheat and to eat your pieces when you are not looking.

I cannot overstate my bliss and euphoria at Hilary Clinton’s spectacular election loss. I was dreading seeing her craggy soppy face on TV and listening to her screeching voice, like nails on a chalk board.
I am so ecstatic about witnessing everything Trump accomplishes the next 2 years.
I just pray he does not get assassinated in that timeframe, or ever, if possible. Huge forces hate him and I am convinced he will have at least one assassination attempt if not two. If some jackass dweeb is willing to die just to kill a cop or two, there must be hundreds of similar cretins anxious to die to murder President Trump.

Went to an “Open Mike Night” and played some pink Floyd, Steely Dan, and my own original songs to an appreciative crowd of fellow musicians.
Yesterday I scrapped my Sightmark holo site because.. well.. it didn’t work.
I thought it was played safe. It’s not a real holo sight, but it’s also for my KelTec KSG. So I’m not really looking for Aimpoint here. I spent $120 on this thing.
After ANOTHER change of batteries (It sat in the closet for too long, I guess) the reticle wouldn’t come back. Just went dead. I ripped it apart in a vain attempt to repair it and discovered this sight - and the company to be so bad that should be brought up on charges of Treason.
So I broke out the ol’ $10 no-namer made-in-china tube and decided to fix it instead. I got the X back on track, but the Y is so far to the side that I couldn’t get the dot over that far. I’ll do more of a job on it tomorrow.
So yeah, I tinkered with garbage red dot sights.
I don’t even know when it was on, I was busy.
Dinner tonight.. Rotini with Bolognese sauce and pork parmegiana. So full.
Got a long-overdue haircut for $17 in the afternoon.
Fixed a mysterious electrical-socket failure.
Finished day six of rolling-leftover week with the last measure of [mostly calamari] seafood-tomato-garlic linguini from Castelli's.
Approved three invoices (& rejected one) for payments to vendors for our desert HOA.
Checked FR for news & commiseration.
Might eat the last of the tarte tatin from Beaux–Arts with some ice cream for dessert.

I went to bed. How long did the delusional man speak?
I had my nose in a garden book, planning my spring vegetable garden.
Went to the gym. Hour and 20 minutes on the treadmill. My feet still hurt. Then watched “Magnum, P.I.” on DVD while making needlepoint “Jesus” refrigerator magnets.
Did I miss something?
Watched reruns of Big Band Theory...mindless entertainment but not mind numbing like one of his I/Me/I/Me rants.
Papillon was on TCM.
