Weird question, I know, but Freepers seem to have more contacts than anybody else. My Greek and Egyptian assets are pretty thin and I need info.

I have a friend (no, really) who needs a recent copy of his Greek birth certificate. Born in Cairo of Greek parents, moved to Venezuela at age 4, now a US citizen, wants to marry his high school sweetheart who is a citizen of Spain. He can't get any response from either Egyptian or Greek consulate in Los Angeles (where he lives). My Greek and Egyptian assets are pretty thin. Suggestions?

I don’t know anyone, but maybe he could try the Greek Church?

What did he use to get his us citizenship?

Paper trail would have started with his birth cert from Greece, to show his parents and his nationality.

Your friend and his fiancé could plan a pre-honeymoon to Greece and go pick up his BC in person.

Maybe Elim Garak can be of help. He still has contacts with the Obsidian Order. They could get the Greek birth certificate. However they are unable to get obama’s.....

I always try to keep my contacts dry, and I’m afraid of Greece fires.

Would a Greek birth certificate be on a stone tablet or papyrus?
