That’s kind of the screener’s job. They’re screening calls to put people on the air, you said you don’t want to go on the air, their job is done. If you just want him to be aware, e-mail.
As for the greeting I don’t really care. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Good Morning, whatever. Of course I live in the sunbelt where it’s easy to forget it’s winter anyway, I basically never go calendar specific.
Merry Christmas Mr. Grinch.
Snowflake alert.
Wow. Toughen up.
Merry Christmas Snowflake.
Well then, “happy holy days” for whatever holy days this month that you celebrate that make you so happy
The Temple of Righteous Indignation and Ruffled Feathers obviously doesn’t teach you to just accept good wishes shared by people of other religions and cultures and let them slide off your sensitive skin
Welcone, for being insensitive to the rest of us, thin skinned, and easily offended.
Good grief.
Merry Christmas, and to post all that because you got hung up on, tough. You even stated you did nto need to go on live, so why waste the screeners name.
I don;t know what it is about the north east, and their way of happy holiday crap, but this is Christmas, and in the rest of the country we say MERRY CHRISTMAS..
Thank you for your insensitive and pushy reply. If you didn't know I was a Jew and you meant to be kindly, I might be a lot more amenable to such a greeting. But you are just trying to be childish and obnoxious and push YOUR POV on me. Only serves to reinforce my original opinion.
One of my Jewish friends greets me with “Happy Hanukkah” this time of year. I’m honored, not offended. And she doesn’t (seem to) mind my “Merry Christmas” greeting. Nothing wrong with recognizing someone else’s special holiday and nice to include each other.
Ba humbug” is probably a good reply if you don’t like being included in their holiday and don’t want to hear the greeting again.
Direct that at OP, they don’t get it.
*grins*
my niece thru marriage is offended by the term Merry Christmas.
I send them the most religious card i can find because she is ridiculous.
Thats like atheists that get mad when you say “God Bless You” when they sneeze.
Check out post 3.
That’s some grinchwork there.
Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all!
Hey snowflake! Merry Christmas!
“Happy Late Ramadan?”
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
