A pair of linen bloomers that once belonged to Queen Victoria are up for auction in the U.K. later this month.
The split drawers have a 42.5-inch drawstring waist and are embroidered with the royal monogram V.R. for Victoria Regina (Queen Victoria) and the number 23. Auction house Henry Aldridge & Son told FoxNews.com that the bloomers were given to the sellers grandmother by one of Queen Victorias ladies in waiting.

Someone was online selling a pair of
Eva Braun’s underpants last year.

Ugh. All this gives a whole new meaning to the old adage about “wear clean underwear, you might be in an accident.” Yeah... or someone 50-100 years after you’re dead might attend an auction. lol

42.5-inch drawstring waist Her uncle, King George IV, had at least a 50" waist when he was the Prince Regent.
She was bad looking at 23, but did had a pretty thick neck.

So why do they expect the bloomers to fetch way more at auction than the chemise...?

She had 9 children.
Could they be maternity bloomers?

I'd bid on the bloomers belonging to the Duchess of Cambridge...particularly if she was in them!

Auctioned off? More like a deduction to Goodwill or Salvation Army or similar - taken on a tax return.
