Hundreds of Boston Public Schools students are planning to walk out of classes Monday in protest of President-elect Donald Trumps inexcusable statements and harmful policies, with the end goal of building a student-led resistance against the Trump administration, organizers said...
More than 540 people have indicated, as of last night, on Facebook they plan to participate in the walkout,
Boston Public Schools responded to news of the walkout with an automated call to students and staff warning that students missing class time will be marked absent...
It has come to our attention that students are planning a potential walkout for Monday, Dec. 5, at 1:00 p.m, BPS said in the phone message. BPS believes in the importance of student voice and advocacy. However, we strongly discourage students from missing class time. Students who miss class time will be marked absent for their missed classes. Families will receive an automated phone call that informs them of these absences.

Seattle students plan citywide anti-Trump walkout Monday UPDATE ...
Boston students plan walkout Monday in protest of Trump I know the media provides a junior high student as an organizer, but who are the real movers behind this ideological deception, besides the devil?
Students with upcoming tests and projects due.
If this school gets a huge donation of money or equipment from ‘anonymous donors’, my guess is someone like Nanny Bloomberg, George Soros or Slim of Mexico. All three are busybody billionaires that most people personally dislike.
Oh, and then there’s the (C)Rapper, JayZ, ‘husband’ of professional Shake Dancer Beyonce. JayZ is a well known contributor to anarchist groups like Black Lives Matter.
A student that walks out and does not turn in their project or take their test is much easier to grade for that project or test.
Any and all (children or adults) involved are acting like self focused children. This has nothing to do with Trump, and everything to do with their selfishness.
....same people who had pre-teens singing songs about Odungo....POS
Reasonable answer, but i think there is an org. overall and the funding and directors of such is the issue.
Someone will likely give them a pardon.
The students are not walking out. The America-hating school administration has chosen to close the schools and to PUT the students on the streets.
The students don’t “plan” a walkout. The kids are happy to have the opportunity to have a day off with their buddies.
Schools should not receive ADA (Average Daily Attendance) money from the feds for those days when students are NOT in class, imho.
Maybe half the class should walk out because of BLM or Obama....

Just wondering...
What kind of reactions you would get from “Student-on-the-street” interviews when confronted with President-elect Donald Trumps inexcusable statements and harmful policies, which actually turned out to be attributed to the “prophet” Moehammed?
You don’t need much to fund a college student walkout, 6 pack of beer will do!
It is the Education cartel behind this. A bunch of Leftist curriculum shapers, and behavioralists with Union connections who can drop an assignment for the boobs and brainless, and rent a crowd on any given day.
The tentacles into our education system is the death of our Republic if not clipped off soon. It has been as if the Republicans are blind, or are in on it, for state propagandists and social engineers in Academia are never an agenda item for any Republican candidate, ever.
This would include TRUMP. Phyliss Schlafley knew all about it. No one listened.
That’s what I was wondering. How would these kids answer when asked to be specific about ‘inexcusable statements’ and ‘harmful policies’?
“Ah -— er -— I uh -—————”
Excellent timing there, morons. Hope you at least left one person in class to take notes for you on what’s going to be on the final exam. Can’t wait for that kid’s dog to eat them, oops.
the teachers arent behind this? the students, on their own, came up with this “dangerous and inexcusable” policies stuff?
The ADA count is turned in at 10 am here. Anyone who is there at 10 gets counted no matter if they showed up at 9:45 and left at 10:15. This walk out (likely school sponsored) is being conducted after the count so it’s no skin off anyone’s nose.
