The students are not walking out. The America-hating school administration has chosen to close the schools and to PUT the students on the streets.
The students don’t “plan” a walkout. The kids are happy to have the opportunity to have a day off with their buddies.

Schools should not receive ADA (Average Daily Attendance) money from the feds for those days when students are NOT in class, imho.

The ADA count is turned in at 10 am here. Anyone who is there at 10 gets counted no matter if they showed up at 9:45 and left at 10:15. This walk out (likely school sponsored) is being conducted after the count so it’s no skin off anyone’s nose.
