CHARLOTTE HALL, MD (RNN) - If 2016 has its way, Christmas tree fires will be the least of your worries this holiday season.
A beaver found its way into a Dollar General store in Maryland, tearing apart store shelves in its search for the last box of tinsel.
After the beaver had caused enough damage to warrant an emergency response, Corporal Yingling from St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and Animal Control were called to the store.
Officials said that the animal tried to escape once Yingling arrived, but the animal was safely apprehended and released to a wildlife rehabilitator.
Beaver can be the downfall of Western Civilization.
“Ward, I think you should have a talk with the Beaver”.
Not the kind of beaver I was hoping to see when I watched the video.
The police showed up and the beaver was heard saying “dammit”.
If I had a dollar for every time my life was ruined by a beaver...
Lol!!!
How does that work? A .45 to the head? A 12-step plan? Three months at a spa / rehab center with similarly troubled critters? Does the wildlife rehabilitator take the ornery critters like griz, skunks, and great whites? Is the only person qualified for this job the mayor's brother?
Inquiring minds want to know.
I knew that would appear sooner or later. Lol!!!
Bill Clinton was on the scene ASAP.
He dove into the situation, exclaiming that he is a beaver authority despite whatever Hillary might have claimed.
Indeed.
Was it the beaver that ruined you or the rooster?
Dog bites man story — beavers destroy everything in their path. Beavers are the cause of mankind’s unhappiness. Western civilization is collapsing because of out of control beavers. Beavers = planetary cataclysm.
“The great question that has never been answered, and which I have not yet been able to answer despite my thirty years of research ... What does a beaver want?” Sigmund Freud.
Somewhere I hear a BOB WILLS and the TEXAS PLAYBOYS band playing.
Corporal Yingling? I'll have to take your word for it.
