No. That’s was McDonald’s effort to pull a “McDowell’s” on Big Boy (Coming to America movie reference.)

He also had one noted misfire, the Hula Burger.
That was Ray Kroc's misfire, not Delligatti's.

He and Wendys Dave Thomas would have been your Dream Ticket.
Surely there must be a place for the real Colonel Sanders in such an administration! For some reason HUD comes to mind.

"This is the guy at age 90! Incredible<=" But according to the weird health Nazis and the US GOV
he would be classified as "obese" and must take all sorts
medications and probably should be denied any sort
health insurance or special medical treatments.

He stayed alive by not eating them.

Originally they had gherkins?! Hey McD I think I know a way to fix your quality problem: bring back the gherkins! Those are way better pickles.

Is it just me, or were the burgers much better at McDonald’s 40 or 50 years ago?

He stayed alive by not eating them.
The article says he ate a Big Mac every week.
To: piasa
It has been at least 15 years since I’ve eaten a Big Boy burger, but I do recall the third bun in the middle.
To: Obadiah
The Big Mac is just a pale imitation of the greatness that is the Big Boy.

I did enjoy eating at Big Boy restaurants when I lived in Michigan. There are quite a few of them there (none left here).
Full disclosure: I don’t eat Big Macs or Big Boys. Never cared for the special sauce.

My kids didn’t believe me at first when I told them that at one point in our country’s history, EVERYONE could tell you what was in a Big Mac!! LOL!!
almost everyone.
