Mine says 13” mid 2010 so it’s in the middle of those being obsoleted/vintaged. Can I assume it’s already been done ??

Not sure where that 68K number came from? I use this chart that tops out at 22.9K (multicore) for a 2013 Mac Pro: http://browser.primatelabs.com/mac-benchmarks My 2008 comes in at about 12.25K because it isn’t “stock”. About the same as some 2015 Mac Book Pros.

This is a Mac Pro (Late 2013) Desk Top 12 core top of the line using Geekbench 4.0.1 suite in 64 bit, multicore score. A lot of those older tests were only 32 bit. The source is the same, different page. It's not a notebook.

Apparently not yet. They obsoleted the 15" & 17" of that vintage but I can find no record showing the mid-2010 13" has been obsoleted. Strange.

Thanks. It works fine; other than having to replace the battery pack once, not a single problem.

You will be happy with the newer upgrades. I have a newer Mac Air and a pal of mine has an old MacBook Pro that is very slow compared to my Air — he could not get over the difference in performance, especially in read-write tasks.
