Women are decorating Susan B. Anthony's grave with 'I Voted' stickers

It’s been fewer than 100 years since women (though, effectively, just white women until 1964) got the right to vote in America. Susan B. Anthony is one of the most famous pioneers who fought for suffrage, and now, as chances are high that America will have its first woman president, people are honoring her work by decorating her grave with “I Voted” stickers.

Anthony, who is buried in Rochester, New York, died before she could see the 19th Amendment passed. One local station is even broadcasting the tribute to her grave.

People are also visiting the graves of other suffragettes and monuments to the Women’s Suffrage movement, as well as highlighting those women who fought for the vote.

Today, Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York, is also holding an event to pay tribute to the numerous suffragettes buried there, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Carrie Chapman Catt, as well as other notable women like Madam C.J. Walker and Celia Cruz.

You can bet she wasn’t the only resident of that cemetery to vote.

The problem has nothing to do with gender.
It has to do with human ignorance and willful brainwashing of the populace.

If government was truly smaller; there would be much less incentive for the left to drag out uninformed, barely breathing , and non citizens to vote.

All they want is power and control and money in their pockets.
Conservatives like me just want to be left alone and be unmolested by government tyranny.

I just wonder how women in Britain felt when Maggie Thatcher became PM?

Female here—
And sadly I cannot disagree with your 3/4 don’t have any idea what is going on.
Women are voting for what they think “feels good”, which is “everyone gets free medical care” and “let’s let the poor downtrodden into the US” and “Oh boy a woman president”!
They need to learn to be pragmatic, read something other than People, watch something other than Real Housewives, and learn to to think.

This is why almost all my friends are men. Sad.

...or it could mean Susan B. Anthony voted. Multiple times.

LOL - that would run true to form... Democrats cheat...

Secure women - women who care about the 'rights' of all Americans know the best PERSON for the job is what matters... not the person with the 'right' sex organs.

“Oh come on; what a stupid comment.
You must not have any conservative, intelligent woman around you .”

Do you disagree that there are proportionally more irrational emotional women voting than intelligent conservative women? If an intelligent conservative woman’s vote is canceled out by dumb sluts, and there are more dumb sluts, should you still feel happy about it? Who is stupid.

Yes she was... but the people using her grave site as a photo-op stunt are democrats...

Susan B Anthony would be the last person to back the silliness of voting for a person BECAUSE OF THEIR SEX ORGANS... don’t you see - THAT’S THE IDEA SHE WAS FIGHTIN. She was fighting for sexual equality - NOT to replicate the ‘sexual advantage’ of one group over the other. Think “Quaker’ to get some idea of her mentality.

Susan B. Anthony fought for equality... She would be the last person to advocate voting for a person based on their sex organs... WHY? Because that WAS THE CONCEPT SHE WAS FIGHTING.

There are irrational liberals voting.
Trying to make woman out as flighty , irrational fools is ludicrous.
That’s the same type of identity politics the left uses, no place for that with conservatives

Setting aside the ethical and philosophical aspects of the topic:

It is inarguable that one of the main goals of the early 20th Century communists (”progressives”) was to get women the vote:

They are the largest single voting bloc that consistently and predominantly votes left.

It is said and it is true: Women instinctively want a financial support for their progeny - and the government is the biggest Sugar Daddy around.

Add to that the long-noted tendency of women to vote according to feeling rather than logic, and to vote for a highly attractive male (Kennedy) over a less attractive one (Nixon), and you have the recipe for the electorate inexorably moving toward national communism.

There are many rational, conservative women - but they are always outnumbered by their opposites.

The White Male is hated precisely because if such still comprised the strongest voting bloc, then the country would have remained profoundly conservative and genuinely Republican (for, in contrast to women, they outnumber their opposites).

Look at any table of voting percentages over the years and decades. It is women who give the country to the leftists.

My answer was a little harsh... your feelings have to do with democrats using the women’s issue in a way that’s offensive. All women do NOT feel the way liberal elite women feel. So you’re right on this issue Scarpetta.

Many women must have voted for Trump yesterday (I can’t wait to see the demographic breakdown!); Susan B. Anthony was anti-abortion and should be happy with these results.
