PORTLAND, MAINE - Portland police arrested 30-year-old Asher Woodworth after he walked back-and-forth slowly through downtown traffic dressed as a tree.
When he refused to comply orders, police took him to jail on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a public way.
Police say Woodworth's motivation was to "see how people would react to his performance" and how it would "impact people's natural choreography."

The guy should make like a tree and get out of there! /Biff Tannen
Next Veritas video will reveal Hillary ordered it.
He made an Ash of himself?
Poor Algore.
The police gave him a chance to leaf.
GREAT NAME FOR A TREE Asher Woodworth LOL
I guess they cut him open and thirty rings fell out?
He’s lucky they didn’t branch-cuff him.
Usually when there’s a tree in the road, the chainsaws come out to clear the obstruction...
He tried but he couldn’t sway the jury.
Looks more like a sbrub.
I know, right??? :-D
I wonder if no one was there and he fell, would he make a sound?
Looks more like a slash pile to me.
He identifies as a tree. I’m sure Obamacare covers tree surgeons.
Just in time for Christmas.
Ha! I love those movies!
TREE HUGGERS UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!
Something for Gloria Allred to sink her teeth into.
As long as she doesn’t bough down to pressure.
I would think that one should be able to wake up in the morning and declare his/her/itself a tree for a day.
)BUT when a dog raises its leg, stand there like an oak and take it.)
Or a dog. (watch them fire hydrants)
Or a cat.
Or a woman if man
Or a man if woman
Or a normal human if an It....
I have to leaf now.
Did they haul him off to S.D. Warren for “processing”? ;)
GREAT NAME FOR A TREE Asher Woodworth LOL
Incorrect...The name for this tree is dumb ass!
