Utah has been solidly Republican at the presidential level for the past 48 years. But the leaked tape of Donald Trump bragging about groping and kissing women without their consent may have been the last straw for socially conservative voters in this heavily Mormon state.

Now, Trump's support in Utah could be collapsing, according to a poll conducted after the Trump tape was released. It shows both Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton drawing just 26 percent support.
"A lot of Mormon voters view Donald Trump unfavorably given all of the previous information that they had, and this just proved to be a tipping point where they finally said, I can no longer vote for this man," said Quin Monson, a political scientist and founding partner of Y2 Analytics, the firm that conducted the poll.

The Deseret News, a newspaper owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hasn't weighed in on a presidential race since 1936, but on Saturday, it published an editorial calling for Trump to drop out.

FWIW, The Deseret News also called for Bill Clinton to drop out after Monicagate broke. They also condemned the supreme court mandating same sex marriage.

What he said was that when someone is rich, the girls LET them do whatever they want. He simply stated a fact about what goes on in those circles.
He did NOT say he did it.
I am very active LDS, I live in Utah, I work in an environment where I know and associate with many. Not a single person I know has a yard sign, has a bumper sticker, has a pin or emblem for any one. Yet, each one of us is committed TRUMP. 4-5 times in the last 6 months I have seen a bumper sticker for Bernie, same time frame 1 for Mrs. Clinton, another 10 for Trump. Rest easy, Mrs. Clinton will come in 3rd behind the next POTUS, DJT, and “what is Aleppo” Johnson.
Remember, these are the same propagandists who declared Texas “in play” a few months ago.
I’ll be genuinely surprised if Egg McMuffin actually gets that many votes on election day.
