It's because he defends white people. This is the reason the media is able to openly oppose him. There aren't aren't pressure groups who are going to go after the media's sponsors for doing this. What Trump is doing isn't permissible in the liberal media bubble and the Republican Establishment on Fox News. However, the people who stayed home in 2008 and 2012 are going to show how out of touch the media is on Election Day.

This. He's also reaching out to Unions and labor, but by far the biggest threat to the Democrats is his gains with Black voters. I've read he's pulling around 25% of the Black vote, and if that's true, Hillary is toast.

I have always detested the fact that Democrats get for free what Republicans have to spend millions of dollars to obtain; "Air time."
We should have long ago been working on ideas to cut the financial throats of these bastard Democrats running the media system in this country.

I agree they know if he winds campaign strategy on ad spending changes dramatically.
However, I would like to see a few ads to know all of our contributions have not been in vain. At what point will he start using the airwaves? Yes, I saw the postings and articles on ad buys.
He is politically incorrect and nothing they have tried reduces his popularity. He appeals to the common man and woman and liberals despise commoners, seeing themselves ad being morally and intellectually superior to everyone else.
This is a very astute observation and most definitely a large component of the problem. I have been noting for a very long time that being a child of wealth tends to begat socialistic ideas, precisely because the silver spoon children are insulated from most of life's travails.

I believe that the dread weapon of the media was and still is political correctness. I have a Canadian book titled "Gotcha". It exposes the beady eyes and listening ears of the press. How often has it been that an earnest decent person has made a slip of the tongue. Or indeed a statement taken out of context.
The press has then swooped. Every time the reaction of the person slammed, was to grovel- even break into tears. Sorry, so sorry they would plead. The media circled the person like sharks smelling blood in the water.
Donald Trump does not give a damn about them. Better still, he survives stronger than ever. He has proved their weapon fizzles like a damp firework.
Look at the few who stood up to their newsrooms like Sheryl Attkisson. They banished her from CBS for trying to be objective in her reporting. The Democrat bias in the media is so blatant, and they’re open about it. I get tired of getting into arguments with lefties about media bias. Their usual retort is, “Tell me something that didn’t come from FOX News.” If these morons actually watched FOX News they would know the network is heavily slanted to the left. Our media is like Pravda of the old Soviet Union and all they spew is leftist (Democrat) propaganda.
