Following his arrest on Jan. 26, Ammon Bundy was found with $8,031 in cash in his jacket, a receipt from a Jan. 1 purchase of nearly $200 in ammunition from a BiMart in Idaho and a withdrawl slip in his wallet from a Chase Bank Fred Meyer in Idaho visited the day before, according to a prosecutor.....
During his transport to jail by van following a cursory search of him, Harney County Sheriff's Sgt. Lucas McLain heard Bundy talking on a cell phone.
Lt. Brian Needham flipped on the overhead light in the van, and they could see Bundy balancing a cell phone between his shoulder and ear, McClain testified Tuesday.
They stopped the van at the Bureau of Land Management office west of Burns along Highway 20 and Bundy, along with co-defendant Ryan Payne and Victoria Sharp were removed from the van to be searched.
McClain said he searched the van and found the cell phone into the crook of the seat where Bundy had been seated.....
McClain mentioned on the witness stand that Sharp at some point moved from the back to the front seat.
"She actually urinated in the backseat of the van and was ordered to move," attorney Tiffany Harris pointed out, during her cross-examination. "She had asked several times to relieve herself."
"I did not order her," McClain said, but he acknowledged that Sharp had urinated in the van.
Harris is (Shawna) Cox's standby counsel.....
(Marcus) Mumford, Bundy's lawyer, tried repeatedly to get (Jess) Wenick to discuss how the federal government has authority to own the refuge.....
"What authority does the federal government have to maintain the fence?" Mumford asked.....
"Were you involved in the burns that the Hammonds were prosecuted for?".........
the judge advised Mumford, "Please confine yourself to cross on direct" examination....

Beyond that we also learned that the Harney County Sheriff's Department was involved in prisoner transport the night Bundy and others were ambushed by the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, supported by Oregon State Police.
Ammon Bundy was making phone calls on a cell phone and they had to stop the van to take his phone away.
But Lt. Brian Needham and Sgt. Lucas McLain couldn't stop the van to let Victoria Sharp relieve herself.

The last part I excerpted from the article is Ammon Bundy's defense attorney Marcus Mumford confronting federal wildlife refuge employee Jess Wenick over federal land policy.
Mumford asked Wenick if he was involved in the persecution of the Hammonds (Dwight and Steve) now imprisoned for a second time as terrorists for lighting a backfire to protect their land.
Assholes made the poor 16 year old girl stand in the freezing snow and wouldn’t even take her to a restroom.
That doesn’t matter. What matters is making sure the peasants don’t get ornery.
They have to be put in their place.
Sadly, that’s their thinking, rights, dignity, and freedom mean nothing to the elites.
Those law enforcement guys made donkeys of themselves since they were quick to pull over to take Ammon Bundy’s cellphone but unwilling to pull over so Victoria Sharp wouldn’t pee herself.
The Good Book says we’ve all made mistakes and those guys from Sheriff Ward’s “Sheriff of Nottingham” operation in Harney County definitely did so here.
Perhaps it is time for the 3% to make a small statement by action and deed not word and bluster.
Having 8000 dollars is not a crime.
Buying 200 dollars worth of ammo is a small amount of ammo, perfectly legal, and the right of any citizen.
Having a cell phone? Are they serious? Something’s wrong because he had a cell phone and was using it?
It also is probably that the intentional insensitivity of the agents led to that woman urinating on herself. It was wrong. It probably rose to the level of cruelty. There is absolutely no good reason for it.

When the protest began, they said they opposed it.
After that they show up at the refuge displaying weapons, flak jackets and looking scary to the media.
Ammon Bundy asked them to move away and they did to set up some sort of ‘perimeter’ to ‘protect’ the protest.
Then at exactly the moment the ambush is launched by the FBI up the road from the refuge, they cut and ran from the area.....
Who are they, double agents, FBI informants, representatives of some political party or government who go out to make dissenters look bad?

Different locations but I’ve done very similar before.
The feds have spent millions in prosecuting this case already and involved scores of investigators. And carrying cash and buying ammo is presented as what? Evidence?
If it was male officers transporting there wasn’t much they could do as far as the girl having to urinate. If they un-cuffed her they would have to watch her to make sure she didn’t run. Law suit! If they left her cuffed they would have to help her get her pant’s down. Law suit!. When we transported females we always had a female officer involved. That department may not have had any female officers but if they did on should have been present.

These agents have arrested all the folks in Bundy’s truck. Chase LaVoy’s truck a mile down the road, run him off in the ditch and murder him in the snow, AND the head guy is found on the way back to HQ AFTER his arrest talking on a cell phone!!??!!
Did they search this hardened federal criminal prior to cuffing and stuffing him?

Funny you should say that. Mr GG2 is from the West. He once told me Oregon has an aura of evil that you can feel the minute you cross the state line. He won’t go there the whole state gives him the creeps.
