A man has been jailed after he spent nearly three weeks living in Singapore Airport - including the use of the airports executive lounges.

Raejali Buntut, 32, had checked in to the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 using his boarding pass and his Priority Pass.

But the former business development manager woke up to find he had missed his flight back to Kuala Lumpur and decided to continue using the facilities at the lounges in the departure transit areas of Changi airport's three terminals.

The court was not told why he wanted to stay at the airport, local media reports.

He used his laptop to forge mobile boarding passes which allowed him access to the airport's lounges. In total he used 31 forged passes and used nine different lounge across the airport's three terminals.

He managed to stay in the airport for 18 days before staff recognised him and called the police.

He was jailed for two weeks after admitting charges of forgery.

“Once you sit towards the front it’s hard to go back to steerage.”

Once you sit in a windshield seat, it is hard to sit in the back and have to pay for that “privilege”.

I had a pedicure while I was waiting for my flight after dining on sushi and grilled salmon. On the plane in Upper Class, I had a back and neck massage.

I love Singapores airport. I could live there. Actually I did for a week in the hotel in the terminal area.

I'd say best airport in the world, but I've never been to Schipol in Amsterdam which I'm told is pretty nice.

I've been to Schipol twice. There's nothing nice about it. Changi is 100 times nicer.

The homeless have been spending the nights at the Honolulu Airport-

You know-—safety,air conditioning, and restrooms.

I worked in Kuwait back in the ‘80s and an expat there told me how the Saudis handle caning. Some Brit screwed up and was caught making his own wine. He was sentenced to 100 strokes. The hook was he got 25 at a time - had to show up once a week. Took quite a bit of time to heal. Dunno if it was buttocks or back.

As I like to say, “I didn’t sit in First Class, but I can SEE First Class.”
