Kellyanne Conway has the Donald on a new path. No more screaming and making fun of people. If he stays with it, he wins easily.
The frustrating thing about the polls is that we don’t know how much of Hillary’s drop was real. How much was the press overstating the case for Hillary in the past and now moderating their polls closer to reality?
And to the extent that the change is real, there is a sad realization that the change is probably driven more by a realization that Hillary is physically unfit to do the job, rather than that our citizenry has carefully examined the issues and are voting for Trump because he is best for the nation.
I was having fun last night, and produced a very similar map. I had all Clinton leaning states too close to call (except D.C.) and Trump winning enough states to win before polls close in California as in 1980.

I think Donald Trump is immune to saying something stupid. All his current supporters will just see it as "Trump being Trump." The media has been pounding Trump 24/7 for well over a year now on his "outrageous" statements. Thanks to these relentless attacks on Trump, his supporters are de-sensitized to it all.
Trump has now gotten to the point where can treat the press with utter disdain and his supporters just cheer him on! When the press plane was late for the NH rally the other night and Trump announced he was going to start the rally anyway and not wait for them, he got a standing ovation.
When he rick-rolled the press at his Washington DC "press conference" yesterday, he got nothing but accolades from his supporters.
It's pretty amazing but it looks like Trump is going to be able to pull this off.
