You could try Mozilla Firefox. Been using it probably since it first came out ( At least 10 years)approximately. Never had a problem, it’s not Goog, lets you put add-ons easily, lets you block history, doesn’t collect your private info. Is fast and efficient. Just love it. Probably @ Mozilla.org. (Non- profit corp). (Watch their video after installation.)
I must have discovered it here about 14 years ago.

I’ve been using Firefox for a long time too. It’s still a very good browser but I’ve been a little leery about them since their founder was forced to resign, when he stood up for traditional marriage.

That founder started a new browser called Brave Browser. Right now it’s in the early stages, very simple but not bad. He promises even more privacy than his old Firefox. I’ve been playing around with it for awhile and there is a version for Linux. So far, it’s very basic but I haven’t had any problems with it.
