Huma’s email proves nothing. Earpieces are common for people who do public events. Donald Trump has worn an earpiece at his events. If we found an old email about his earpiece, it wouldn’t prove that he was wearing an earpiece at the Lauer forum. Neither candidate was wearing an earpiece there, for obvious reasons.
It’s well known that oily skin surfaces can be shiny.
There are other camera shots looking straight into Hillary’s ear that show there is no earpiece. QED

Device not visible in other camera angles - a) no one claimed it was visible in all camera angles - with different lighting! b) The device is designed to be covert. c) The device is insertable which means it also moves up and down the earl canal with varying degrees of visibility dependent on insertion depth and subsequent movement (working loose).

LOL...The highly reflective oily ear bowl twinkie defense - In part, requires believing her female handlers who control everything about her appearance, 5-10 thousand dollar outfits, 750 dollar hair color/stylings, and professional studio makeup (witness her heavy face & neck pancake) somehow forgot to makeup her over oily ears and that this, many decade veteran of public and studio appearances, let it slip by on her most important public appearance to date.
Look at her bedraggled-appearance "deplorables" video a day later - her hair has been restyled, maybe even lengthened - it now completely covers her ears. Funny coincidence.
