A millionaire has released video of his former fiancee hitting herself in the face during a temper tantrum to rubbish claims he abused her. Scott Mitchell, 45, has released the footage of Mary Hunt, 29, supposedly beating herself up as part of a tense legal battle. The businessman from Tampa Bay, Florida, has accused her of stealing $2.1million worth of jewelry from the safe in his sprawling mansion when they split last summer. Hunt has claimed Mitchell was violent towards her, giving her black eyes and bruises, before he broke off the wedding in August.

This happened to me during my divorce- fortunately she told 3 different stories, claiming 3 different times, because each time I was able to prove I was not even around at that time.
The last one was when she tried to say it happened at 11 PM, when I was able to prove I was IN my attorneys office, on the phone with the judge AND the court-apointed child law guardian, who said “wait a mint- she called me at 9 AM and said it happened then”
She lost custody immediately to me right then and there.
That is a much better picture of her.

My divorce was 19 years ago. I think more and more judges are on to what is going on. I think mine came just as no fault divorce was losing favor. A couple of years later I was able to represent myself and get custody of my youngest daughter. Her attorney was going so crazy in court she was threatened with contempt twice. I think she was trying to get me to act out. Problem is that she believed her client. I don’t act out. She does. ;)
Women like her remind me how fortunate I am they are some other guys problem.

But he’s a man and he “could” beat her up...that’s basically what my son’s ex argued.
On a good note my son learned from his railroading and when it looked like the wife of a friend was going to be filing for divorce he had the friend “sell” him pretty much everything he had of value while he could still legally do it. Then, Voila, the friend bought it back after the divorce.

Divorce court is not ‘fair and just’ - It is two lawyers fighting with each other until all the money is gone.
