Lucy was a tough lady, she did not take much crap from anyone, but in person she really was a sweetheart. Yes I knew her, went to her house on Roxbury many many times.

22 years old cannot buy a house in Los Angeles anymore.
Heck no one can unless you already have a home.

You picked a fine home to sell me Lucille
With a cozy back porch
And fake trees that look real
You're making a killing
You're asking two million
But for Hollywood that's quite a steal
You picked a fine home to sell me Lucille

Good-looking house, thoughtfully and carefully updated. Bright, open and airy but the rooms are still clearly defined. Modern cabinetry and finishes but they sit well with the age of the house. Nice studio in back. 2 bedrooms would be a drag in most markets, though.

Oh, the husband and wife house renovation tv show in Texas. Had to look that up. Yes, it is sort of like what they’d do.

Never heard of her.

I think she was in some obscure sitcom back in the 1950s. I can't recall the name of it.

That’s bogus. Read the thread. She supported Ike in the 1950s.

Here the Seattle yuppie types are being robbed with predictable regularity. Tooling around on their bikes at 1am going to bars-BAM, local thugs get’em. Daytime armed robberies or their bikes vanish and their homes get broken into. Collectively they are slow learners, but individually some must be getting the picture. The local ferals surround those ‘funky’ gentrified shotguns and they see the clueless residents as prey.
