Rachel Maddow Catches Megyn Kelly in Key Demo as MSNBC Surges

MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show virtually tied Fox’s Megyn Kelly-hosted Kelly File in the key 25-54 demographic on Wednesday, the third time this month in which Maddow has tied or beaten Kelly in the all-important demo as MSNBC viewership has risen steadily through the summer.

Kelly’s 9 p.m. primetime show drew 401,000 viewers in the demo Wednesday night, while Maddow’s MSNBC show drew 400,000, according to Adweek‘s Scoreboard.

If a cable news network was created that just had a group of plain guys and ladies, wearing respectable clothes, just REPORTING the news with clear voices, like in the "old days", then these other networks wouldn't stand a chance.

I didnt know Kelly was gone...she has so tainted her show by her obvious disdain for conservatives I just quit watching her.

The only show I watch ‘live’ on Fox is Hannity. Anything else I tape and watch later so I can FF through the “NEW” Fox crap. I have completely quit watching the 5 and O’reilly.

As a conservative I’m taking a hammering all over the place except the sites I choose to read online. So the idea of fair and balanced...with libs coming on and spewing their obvious lies and denigrating decent people such as sheriff clarke...I just dont need that.

If you have to be totally unbalanced to get the truth, so be it.

Geraldo is a fine piece of work. Some 25 or so years ago he wrote an autobiography. It was titled “Exposing Myself.” No kidding—somebody gave to my wife as a joke birthday gift.

Kelly was very critical of him as well.
