A top spokesperson for Donald Trump claimed Thursday that Hillary Clinton has brain damage that impairs her ability to communicate.
Speaking on MSNBC, Katrina Pierson alleged that Clinton has a disorder called "dysphasia," a condition brought on by brain trauma that erodes a person's ability to speak or comprehend language.
"What's new are the other reports or observations of Hillary Clinton's behavior or mannerisms ... as well as her dysphasia, the fact that she's fallen, she has had a concussion, there are really interesting things out there," Pierson said.
Trump has long claimed that Clinton lacks the physical stamina to be president and has stated repeatedly that she takes weekends off to catch up on her sleep.
But Trump and his campaign have not directly engaged with conspiracy theories, circulated on ultra-right wing blogs and talk shows, that Clinton's health is badly deteriorating and that the media is complicit in a cover-up.
There is no evidence to back those claims up and Clinton's physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, has repeatedly stated that the former secretary of State is fit to serve.
Recently, Bardack released a statement to address the conspiracy theories around apparent falsified medical records with her name on them saying that Clinton has dysphasia.
"These documents are false, were not written by me and are not based on any medical facts," Bardack said. "To reiterate what I said in my previous statement, Secretary Clinton is in excellent health and fit to serve as President of the United States."
Pierson on Thursday said Clinton could clear up the confusion by holding a press conference in which she shows she's capable of fielding questions.
"It's important to note that Hillary Clinton has taken a lot of time off the campaign trail," Pierson said. "It's something that needs to be addressed,

I think the Trump campaign knows what it is talking about here. They are laying the ground work for later when the proof comes out or surfaces when Hillary has a serious episode on camera that can’t be denied.
Exposing that she is physically and mentally unfit for office is totally fair game.

Mentally impaired and feeble come to mind regarding Hillary. Not presidential attributes.
She has made a specific allegation - dysphasia - and offered no proof (such as a diagnosis from a doctor who has examined Clinton personally). Voicing concerns and explaining why you have those concerns is a better approach. By stating a specific condition she’s left herself, and by extension the campaign, open to charges of making “wild accusations” and so forth. Don’t give the MediaPAC an opening.
It’s speculation about specific illnesses/conditions that I am not in favor of-not for the Trump campaign.
Yes, I believe she should disclose her health records - but I am not holding my breath.
And her stamina for the election process and the Presidency (I hate to use that term in conjunction with her name)....is an issue.

The summery shows Katrina Pierson didn’t say Hillary Clinton had dysphasia, it just says she referred to “other reports or observations” as new and interesting.

Nobody wants Hillary to be physically disabled more than me, but we need to stay focused on the lies and corruption and all the untimely deaths associated with the Clintons. If she is in a wheelchair like Stephen Hawking, they’ll still vote for her. Pay for play, especially what they pulled in Haiti and with the uranium supply will undo her. Soros pulling the strings also needs to be more widely known.
If she drops out due to health issues without being soundly beaten at the polls, we may have trouble. Fauxcahontus is a liar too, but to a much lesser degree than Hillary.
She brings a lot of baggage with her, from Cruz volunteer days. Hard to know where her true loyalties are.
The Trump campaign knows something.
She said it like it was common knowledge that could be gleaned from everyday behavioral observation. If Hillary had dysphasia it would be because she couldn’t comprehend or express herself in standard English grammar.
I thought dysphasia was a symptom, not a disease

I agree with you. Trump and his people are being held to an impossible standard. Their every word, every phrase must be perfect. All is carefully scrutinized by the media, and, unfortunately, by many here as well.
Obviously there is something very wrong with Hillary Clinton's health. And obviously it affects her brain. This is a valid topic for discussion.
