PHILADELPHIA For Hillary Clinton, finding thousands of words for her speech Thursday accepting the Democratic presidential nomination will be easy.
Distilling her campaign to a simple few will be harder.
Think of Ronald Reagan boiling down his 1980 campaign to the powerful message, Are you better off than you were four years ago? Or Bill Clintons three main points in 1992: The economy, stupid; change vs. more of the same. Or Barack Obamas in 2008: hope and change.
Yet today, after more than a year of campaigning, has Hillary Clinton been unable to craft a clear, cogent message just a few simple words that distills what her crusade has been all about?
Her whole philosophy, that has been true of her whole life, is that It Takes a Village, Clinton Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri said, referring to the title of one of the nominees books. She believes in an America that is stronger for everyone. Not just those at the top.
But Democratic strategist Marc Farinella said Stronger together was more a commentary on her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, and how divisive his campaign had been.
What is Hillarys vision? he said. Thats all about Trump tearing us apart and Im not going to be Trump. But not being Trump is not going to be enough to win the election.
Theres no mistaking the simplicity and appeal of Trumps Make America great again.
The billionaires message is quick, to the point, and goes to the heart of what his campaign is about: The country has been on a downward slide, become lawless, cows before terrorists and fears offending anyone.

“Shes got two very simple selling points:
1. I have a vagina.
2. Its my turn.
It doesnt get much simpler than that.”
That’s exactly what I was going to say. But I’m not sure about number 1.
Hillary’s powerful message is simple.
“Make America Pay Again”
Is that Mesmertoad?
Goldman Sachs
BTW, I’m claiming copyright on the name “Mesmertoad.”
“What difference does it make?”
And you think he (Obama) has one (a wiener)?
“Extremely careless and confused.”
You know, if you are going to stand in front of millions of people to endorse Hillary Clinton, wouldn’t you think you would avoid wearing a blue dress?!
Her message. Blacks are oppressed by Whites. Whites should be ashamed. Muzzards are oppressed by Christians. Christians will be forced to stop practicing their religion, and we will bring in millions of muzzards and allow them to get away with their violent acts against Christians. Christians will be thrown in jail for SAYING something about muzzards.
The LGBT crowd will continue to be given prominence and special privileges. We will appoint perverts to the highest offices of the land. The military will be cut down to about 1/4, and it will serve primarily as muzzard outreach.
Hate America!
Michelle Obama was wearing a blue dress?????
That’s funny as hell.
They know what that means.
Now I am going to watch the show tonight to see if any other women will be wearing blue.
Hillary doesn’t have to find any words. All she has to do is read the teleprompter.
Dick Morris, one-time Clinton croney, says in media interviews these days that Hillary is all about "paralysis by overanalysis."
She'll have 5 to a dozen "solutions" for each option that could be undertaken.
So, by extension, Hillary, when presented with a dozen possible "campaign themes"... can't move ahead on any one of them...overthinks...is paralyzed...
Hypnotoad
“Muh Vagina”
A remarkably nice one, too. Almost looked good on her. Bill probably had to change his shorts after the speech.
Ugggh. Mental eye bleach required.
