Not too big. I’d stay with a lake. IIRC, it’s made in Germany.

I don’t think that would work very well in hot climates, you’re going to bake in there. It won’t deal well with chop, either. Why wouldn’t you just get a small houseboat or pontoon?
To: Jonty30
Starting at $24,575, I’d say it might be worth the price.

I wouldn’t take it near salt water.

Have to have air conditioning here in Texas or you’d die in it...interesting, but seems a bit pricey? Maybe not if it replaces a boat and a camper..

You could get an Amphicar to tow it and you wouldn’t have to unhitch it to get it in and out of the water.

“or ocean bay”
This boat wouldn’t last a day on Tampa Bay, let alone the intracoastal. What happens when a storm kicks up? It looks like it costs $20,000...my advice...spend $5,000 on a good used travel trailer and $15,000 on a good used boat that has enough power to get you out of trouble fast.
Seriously...don’t put yourself and your family in this thing.
To: Jonty30
Don’t get it!...
Get a real boat you can tow 20-22 ft that can sleep 3-4 comfortably....you can still sleep on it on land like a camper....
Any chop, any wave action you are doomed....plus it is only powered by a trolling motor....get out on a busy lake or bay (god forbid)and you will die....well...maybe wish you had...
To: Jonty30
When it cone to things like this. If it f&^ks, flies, or floats....rent it.

They chose “Sealander” because the marketing department vetoed the “Deathtrap” name engineering wanted.
That thing is unsafe in a swimming pool.

Probably a better idea to buy a Time Share ... milk that much money out of you much more slowly for the same amount of value and satisfaction.
Ted Cruz may be leaving Politics, I know he is qualified to sell Timeshares and soon to be available to do just that.
Other than that I wouldn’t let a family member in it or on it while it was in the water.
