Where are the Cruz Supporters on FR?

FR brothers and sisters, this thread is for all the Ted Cruz supporters.

I'm a proud Texan, and ashamed of Ted Cruz. I am supporting the Trump / Pence ticket all the way. This experiment in a republic form of government with limited federal controls will not survive a Hillary presidency. I believe in my heart that Trump will be a transformational president. The good he'll do will outlive his Trump Towers.

As for Ted, I don't think he'll win another election here in the great state of Texas. That being said, there are FReepers who still support Ted. I'd like to hear from you. Why are you still defending or supporting Ted? What about this man and his behavior still draws your support for him at the cost of our republic. Because, that's what at stake in this election.

Here is the story of Trump saying the retweet was a mistake.

But he had all the right enemies in the Senate for all the right reasons.

The senate is essentially a social club; Cruz is unpopular in the senate because he is creepy and generally insufferable - not due to any sort of ideological reasons.

Cruz is part of the establishment - the establishment would have had no problems with Cruz if he didn't come across like a slimy televangelist.

I hope to see Ted Cruz runs for another public office, so I can not vote for him again.

Lent :" They chased themselves off. "
skinndogNN : "Trump supporters chased them off long ago.
Let’s just hope they show up in November."

They aren't here, except to ocassionaly lurk
The site administration and the "Trump Family" made them "UNWELCOMED" quite clearly, through gang assault,
so some of us have taken up the slack of those who have left for other websites.
When 'gang assault' occurs in a community, people leave and relocate elsewhere, when that occurs online, they go elsewhere online.
in which case, the geographic community suffers , and the online community suffers.
Check out to see which online screenames you don't see anymore and you will understand what I am talking about !
and hopefully they will come back, as this has been historically room for all, and they will vote to prevent tyranny in the next administration .

remember Trump was not a political candidate before... he lived and did business in a blue state. You give to the party in charge... I know plenty of republican business leaders in Maryland who have to do the same and direct all their top executives to donate to democrats as well. That’s the price of doing business. The democrats notice if you’re doing business in THEIR state and do not support them. You have to go to their fundraising events and show open support. Don’t be naive...

Obviously you get your news from the most dishonest people on God's green earth... Because IF you had been paying attention lying Ted launched the first attack on Trump... in a private setting... And of course it did not stay private... Then the Texan went ballistic in that debate by denigrating New York values... One does NOT get more stupid than that...

Most especially when it was a Texas case the the ungodly man Cruz ignored and the Supremes used it to give perverts the sacrament of marriage... Then ol Ted slipped into of all places NEW YORK CITY and collected his pay off from his pervert millionaire friends. Then like the devil he is hustled off to Iowa and played the I am the face of God routine and lied about Ben Carson via his planted ‘Oh Mandy’ at CNN.

You have NO clue what a messed up fake Ted Cruz literally is. AND it was the Marco Polo camp that had the uglies over Cruz and his Tuesday partying, and all the deceived Cruz-mites slandered Trump for what the National Enquirer exposed..

By the way as a Texan, could you explain why Ted Cruz paid off I-Carly during the campaign? Cough Cough Cough...

Where are the Cruz Supporters on FR?

They (nearly two hundred) got banned, suspended "for the duration," or left on their own for greener pastures at The GOP Briefing Room forum, permanently abandoning this Trump echo chamber.

Sure did. Cruz said vote the Constitutional candidate. - Captain Obvious because everyone wants to be protector of that document, but so few qualify.

I am only using Cruz own words, otherwise he should pick different words.

Cruz said vote Trump.

I know I’m in the minority but I don’t have a problem with what he did.

I agree with you and am glad TC did what he did last night and this morning. It adds clarity to who Ted! really is and I appreciate that.

Just me talking as a proud Texan. . .

Trump must do more than give Cruz a speaking slot.

Attacking the wife and father of Cruz is something untoward and unseemly.

I’m not a politician but do think Trump can word an out-reach to Cruz along the line of “The primary was a tough fight and tough words were used. Things were said that offended. We are now facing something that is more offensive than words—the prospect of a president Clinton. Our republican family must unite”

Cruz can then reply with “Threats to this great nation resides both here and abroad. Therefore, we must be unified in our actions to protect our constitution and freedoms. Trump is the clear choice we can rely on to support and defend the constitution, to stop Clinton from ever occupying the Oval Office “

(Neither one apologizes to the other.)

Just me day-dreaming

I am pretty sure most are keeping a low profile out of deference to Jim Rob’s decree that FReepers need to get on board with Trump or keep their reservations to themselves.

Disclaimer: I have never been a big Cruz guy, but supported him once it basically came down to him or Trump. I could forgive him for not endorsing Trump given what passed between them during the campaign had he just chosen to remain silent. But accepting a prime time speaking slot at the national convention, and then using it to undercut the party’s nominee was not just bad form, it was dishonorable. I don’t live in Texas but if Cruz faces a primary challenge in 2018 I will send money to his challenger.

I have supported Cruz all along. I did not see his speech last night, so I only have the articles and comments to go on. I can only imagine he never got over the attacks made on his wife in the heat of the campaign, but it was highly inappropriate for him to have delivered such a speech, especially when it was considered an olive branch, and he came pretty close to committing political suicide (especially in front of people that STILL supported him).

Trump supporters chased them off long ago.

Actually, Jim Robinson asked them to leave if they couldn't accept the presumptive nominee for the good of the nation, and come back later when they've settled down.

Props to Laura!! She should play Burnin Down the House, and dedicate it to herself for that barn burner speech last night.

But I still think your photoshop is the funniest. I laugh again every time I see it.
