Would Ted Cruz defeat Mike Pence in the 2020 or 2024 primary? [vanity]

Let's pretend Trump steps down. I see Mike Pence as the best guy that you could defeat in a Prez primary.
No way Christie or Newt or Walker some of the others mentioned could be beaten as an incumbent.

First things first for Fredo. If it works out the way I hope, he will be out of the senate come January 2019. The people of Texas deserve better.
A long time ago a wise person, a politician no less, pointed something out. He noted that you can make a stable man flashy, but you can’t make a flashy man stable. Pence, if elected, will have plenty of time to learn from the Trump family.

You need to stop. This is Donald Trump’s time and Mike Pence’s time. Either get on board with that or go away. Don’t try introducing Cruz into a conversation that he is not part of ...

You’re delusional.
Cruz is a loser, now everyone knows it and he probably will lose his reelection bid.
But Mighty Mouse could beat the crap out of Popeye.

I liked Cruz until he showed himself to be a back stabbing gutter snipe. You lost Ted. Get over yourself.

The fact is Bush finished with a 27% approval.
One of the lowest in history.
That is a fact.

Cruz may be a loser but he’s got some deep pocketed followers in his cult. So he’ll basically never stop running for POTUS. It won’t matter in the end. He’s DOA at the national level. Tom Cotton is the Senator to keep an eye on. He’s weak on trade but far superior to a fraud like Saint Rafael of Goldman.

Good. He should stink to beltway think tanks. I don’t support Cruz Im talking about who would be the strongest polling person to defeat who and whenever Trump is succeeded.
Id go with McCrory or someone who is strongest on immigration. But McCrory isn’t going to beat McCrory Lite(Pence) because of similar factors on other policy.

And somehow, you extrapolate that into Bush "giving" us Obama. LOLOL
Here's the bitter truth: Bush did not give us Obama. We did. Twice. So look in the mirror, suck it up like a man, and stop projecting.

well, it depends if the Donald wants to run again, if he doesnt, then we can plan on President Pence in 2021.
Congratulations; you've been nominated for this years "Counting chickens before they hatch" award.
