Used to work on trying to program systems taking into account for the human user interaction. Ended up having to write binders of instructions.
Seems most programming just goes ahead and does it, damn the torpedoes (Microsoft, I’m talking to you).
Some of this may just be sort-of benign cost-cutting and time saving (let the usere beta test). But what happens when the programming is NOT benign, and intentionally misleading (Google, Facebook, I’m talking to you)
