GOP OFFICE HOLDERS: If Trump is Kicked Out, we walk too, and YOU WILL LOSE (vanity)
(none) | 07/06/2016 | (self)

Posted on 07/06/2016 3:36:58 PM PDT by BobL

Given the rumors that are flying around about 'changing the rules' at the GOP convention so as to prevent Donald Trump from being the Republican nominee, I think some thought should be given to the potential collateral damage to the Republican Party's efforts in November.

First, I'll state the obvious - if Trump is denied his position on the ballot in 2016, I simply will not vote for president - and I suspect that holds for many, probably a majority of Trump supporters.

So Romney, Ryan, or whoever replaces him will simply have to find another pool of millions of voters to push them over the top, and I'll give them a hit - IT DOESN'T EXIST. The only pool of voters they'll find is the 10,000 or so GOP insiders that can't stand Trump crashing their little conclave. The millions of us that took the time and made the effort to go out and vote, we'll simply will NOT VOTE for this new candidate.

Now I assume the above is already obvious to the GOP Leaders, so it's time to add a bit more to the mix. Do not, for a minute, think that us Trump voters have some great love for the GOP. WE DO NOT. We've been asking for a candidate to secure our borders (and that includes terrorist immigration) for over a decade, and all we get are Open Borders types and back-room scheming to try to get Amnesty through - the same Amnesty that is even opposed by a (albeit slim) majority of Democrats. The only people 'extreme' on this issue are the ones (in both parties) that will not let go of this push.

So here's what happens if we do not see Trump on the ticket - you Republican SENATORS, CONGRESSMEN, and CANDIDATES are going down with him. We will not vote for a party that denies its own voters their choice of a candidate...THAT SIMPLE.

So you guys, if you want, can continue your scheming to try to figure out a way to keep Trump off the November ballot - but if you do, be prepared to LOSE YOUR SEATS too, and watch the GOP end up with as much power nationally as it now has in California...a fate deserving of them if they try this stunt.

And you cannot say you weren't warned, for this is YOUR WARNING.

I originally wrote this in response to Romney's Third Party attempt to deny Trump. As bad as that was, there was a long shot, but plausible, strategy behind it. The idea was to have the Third Party guy win a few states and deny both Trump and Hillary an Electoral College majority, thereby throwing the election to the House of Representatives in the thought that a 'better' Republican would be elected there.

But now, the only strategy of the Convention Coup people is to HAND THE ELECTION TO HILLARY - there is no way that any outcome outcome can take place if Trump is off the ballot, as his voters (i.e., most of the GOP base) simply WILL NOT vote for whoever they replace Trump with. And needless to say, handing the election to Hillary means handing the Supreme Court to her, and OPENING THE BOARDER to a full-scale 3rd World surge and Amnesty, such that Republicans will never again be competitive at the national level (just as happened at the state level in California).

THEY DON'T CARE. And THEY ARE TODAY'S REPUBLICAN LEADERS.

And believe me, I'd rather not have to post this again, but when I see articles like this making the rounds, I simply have no choice:

I wonder if Claire thinks it's still too early?

The GOP would rather have Hillary in office than Trump. Hillary will advance the NWO while Trump will eliminate much of the NWO policies.

You are correct. The GOPe leadership are the enemy within and they really would prefer Hillary to win rather than Donald. This is why it is Trump against a grand alliance of those Republicans, the Rats, the permanent government alphabet agencies, the whole panoply of socialists, communists and the rest of the Left and many foreign leaders who oppose any America first leader.

The GOPe’s would prefer Hillary.

But there will be a lot of down ballot carnage if Trump gets screwed.

They can work their corrupt deals with Hillary.

But there won’t be many GOP congress critters left if Trump is screwed.

I wonder why they think 14 million of us would think we need a Republican Party?

What if they had a party and nobody ( who lived outside the Beltway) came?

“The GOP would rather have Hillary in office than Trump.”

That is obviously the case. And the same holds for the vast majority of Republican candidates and elected officials.

But here’s the question for the those people - do they want Hillary SO BAD that they are willing to SACRIFICE THEIR SEAT in DC for her, and have to return home, never to be a political player again?

I don’t think so. I think given their CERTAIN DEFEAT if Trump is not on the ballot, versus having to work with Trump if he is on the ballot and wins, they’ll take the second of the two.

Claire is no longer with us but I suspect we are fast approaching the later end of this statement, sadly. There is no representation of the people at this point, none.

Ted Cruz -— I voted for you in the Texas Primary. I have never been so disappointed in a candidate I supported!!!

-— BUT -—

If your people create havoc at the Convention and Trump is removed as the Republican Presidential Candidate -—
I am putting you ALL on notice -—

You usurp the will of the rank and file voters, and I will NOT cast a vote for ANY of you!!!

NOT Cruz. NOT Cornyn. NOT Thornberry. NOT whoever they anoint for President. NOT for anyone on the Republican ticket from top to bottom.

So you Cruz flunkies and idiots, you Romney traitors, you Kasich lunatics -— go ahead, bring it all down around your own ears.

Then don’t cry to me when we run y’all out of TEXAS!!!

Certain members of the GOP - the GOPe - seem hell bent on committing suicide.

I’d say let them, but we don’t have time for this crap.

Just make note of the vermin, and never forget.

That’s the plan, put Cruz, Bush, Romney, Ryan in to run against ‘herself’ to make sure America becomes a dictatorship instead of a Republic...

I hope people fully understands what this really means...I know the younger people don’t...they haven’t been taught...but we older folks do...our grandparents lived thru the depression of 29 and we heard stories about it...it will be far worse than that...

Good luck people...enjoy you new life...

Today I got a call from the RNC for a 100 or 200 dollar donation for the PARTY?

I said your kidding of course? then she goes into this long spiel of talking points..so I had to interrupt her...and told her” I personally donate to DONALD J. TRUMP, AND I understand he is helping out the Party on his own, but my donation is going to just his campaign..then I proceeded to let her know that after being a Register Republican for 55 years, that I will become an independent if the PARTY SCREWS UP THE CLEVELAND CONVENTION. DONALD J. TRUMP earned the necessary votes and support required to be the 2016 candidate.” ‘at this house we support DONALD J. TRUMP...HAVE A GREAT DAY, THANKS FOR THE CALL..

HUNG UP..

AS for the DOWN BALLOT, I’LL VOTE STRAIGHT DEMOCRAT as bad as I hate to...but hell if granny Benghazi is going to the white house, she might as well have a democrat Congress in her pocket..the republicans have done a terrible job in control of Congress.

No, they don’t think that. They only think one objective at a time, like people that take out payday loans and figure they’ll worry about how to pay it back later.

I most of the candidates have NO CLUE as to their fates if they are able to stop Trump at the convention - and that is because they are not even thinking about what’s next...and if they are, it’s only for a few seconds, and they figure most of us will simply go out and pull the trigger for the Republicans, regardless of who’s on the top of the ticket.

Sadly for them, they will be in for a BIG SURPRISE if that happens.
