It was a fashion face-off of epic proportions when Michelle Obama met with Queen Letizia in Madrid today.
America's first lady was joined by the glamorous royal in the Spanish capital, on what was the last leg of a trip to promote girls' education in poorer countries and raise awareness of gender inequalities.
The ever-chic Letizia, 43, stunned in a sleeveless scarlet dress from Nina Ricci that showcased her toned arms, adding a pair of pointed nude courts and turquoise earrings.

Pointed toes, “nude” is the fashion word for slightly tan, and “courts” are your basic high-heel pumps. (I just looked it up.)
In other words, the most boring possible choice, especially with a red dress. There’s probably a convention for “nude” as opposed to black boring pumps in the daytime.
We a First ‘Lady’ that can’t keep her legs together and adjusts her crotch. I will be glad to see grace and elegance in the WH again.

I think the British press was being kind calling it a ‘fashion face off’. If I had worn that, I would be hiding my face in shame.

Why does she always go with sleeveless? At a certain age one simply must cover the upper arms unless the arms are tiny and tight like the Queen of Spain in these photos.
And where are the typical British scathing witty comments in this article? Sounds as fawning as the US press. She is double the size of the queen, absolutely ripe for mocking.

The media makes too much of this woman..and the two daughters..they are just moochers who spend others money. Nothing special about any of them.
