[VANITY] PRESIDENTIAL POLL WEST GEORGIA:NON-WHITE VOTERS TRUMP 33%--CLINTON 67%
June 27, 2016 | nikos1121

Posted on 06/27/2016 10:58:01 AM PDT by nikos1121

Some friends and I conducted a non-scientific telephone poll between June 24 to June 26. I used the following cell phone number Area Code and Pre-fixes and a common first number found with each followed by three numbers at random.

706-302-5xxx

706-333-5xxx

706-416-2xxx

706-594-4xxx

706-780-1xxx

404-423-1xxx

678-633-0xxx

678-677-0xxx

250 registered voters "who plan on voting" were polled. Non-registered voters or registered voters who plan not to vote were not counted.

Affiliation was 37% Democrat, 44% Republican, 19% Independent.

Ethnicity: White 82% Non-white 18%

Military Family (active or retired): 23%

Question asked: If the election were held today, who would you vote for: Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?

West Georgia, which is south of Atlanta, consists mainly of the small to medium sized cities of Newnan, Lagrange, Columbus, Peachtree City and Carrolton.

The area tends to be fairly affluent and conservative and votes usually republican.

The Columbus area has a large military population at Fort Benning.

Non-white voters tend to vote democrat over 85% of the time.

The poll results would be skewed towards the republican or conservative candidate. Still I find the result surprising, and may reflect other parts of Georgia.

Results:

Overall Trump 56%--Clinton 44%

White: 67% Trump--Clinton 33%

Non-White: 33% Trump--Clinton 67%

Military: Trump 81%--Clinton 19%

Republican: Trump 88%--Clinton 12%

Democrat: Trump 37%--Clinton 63%

Independent: Trump 68%--Clinton 32%

I concur. IMHO, the Republican/Democrat lines blur as soon as you hit Hwy 5 in Douglasville on Eastbound 20, then you’re looking at straight up Democrat voters by the time you hit South Fulton.

Those are real good numbers. Military is overwhelmingly terrific (no surprise) while the strongest pro-hillary groups are no where what they were for Obama.

If Trump gets 33 percent of this demographic, that’s amazing, and bad news for the bosses of the Rat plantation.

I would include Newnan and Peachtree City in Atlanta metro but Lagrange and Columbus is definitely NOT. So this is partly Atlanta metro (Peachtree City = wealthy and older) (Newnan = old south but fast growing from people that are escaping Atlanta metro area so a mixture maybe). Lagrange is blue collar, Columbus is totally liberal and ALWAYS supports the Democrat, the tax hike, the big spending. Only survives due to the millions Fort Benning pumps into the local economy. In between all of that though is conservative country. I live in the county in between Lagrange and Columbus and we vote heavily Republican in every election. Never close.

Fulton County, Muscogee County (Columbus), and the counties that are basically any of the 4 largest cities are liberal. Most of the smaller cities and rural counties go conservative with some exceptions. Some counties are majority black so they vote Democrat every time.

“There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all … The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic … There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.”
Theodore Roosevelt 1915

Last time around it was Obama 95%, Romney 5%. Big improvement!

Excellent and thanks for doing this and posting. Much more accurate than any MSM propaganda “polls”.

W. got less than 10% of the black vote and not a whole lot of Hispanic or other. So I would say Trump is doing great.

Nothing more conclusive than a non-scientific poll.

A non-scientific is more conclusive than an ideological push poll.

“Military is overwhelmingly terrific”

I was horrified that 11% of military families support that loathsome, treasonous, murdering animal.

"Overall Trump 56%--Clinton 44%"

"Investment News" magazine did another survey of Advisers recently came up with almost identical results. Last year this time the numbers without all the "players" gone GOP Vs D were 63%+ vs 37% respectively.

Add the "Monster" vote and the down-lo Trump vote, i.e. those that won't say they will vote for him, I don't see how this isn't a blowout for Trump...
