People keep saying stuff like this. I think the people saying it are overly optimistic.
Simply owning guns is not a solution. We need logistics, supply chain, training on a massive scale, and first and foremost the will to fight and die for our sacred cause.
Owning guns in itself does not make one a threat. It is the will to fight that makes a person a threat.
Frankly, to be brutally honest, I don't see it. Americans are soft, and that makes me sad.

Well, if it makes you feel better, this WOP drove a cab and fought off three peurto ricans one time, a knife wielder another time and even at 48, I have no qualms about doing what needs to be done. Got four years of boxing under the belt and if you train me to use a gun, I’ll use it.

Hell, my aunt was looking at caskets 10 years ago while I was in ICU for my brain injury, so it’s all free time anyway!
We need to be organized and united. Right now we are 100 million lone grumpy citizens, yelling at our TVs every night. Heck, right here on FR we lost many good people due to the hostility re Trump vs. Cruz. It was ugly, internecine and ultimately self defeating to our cause.
Folks need to subordinate their own personal wants for the greater good of our people.
Without self sacrifice we will not succeed.
I advise every person on FR to read up on small unit infantry tactics, as a start. There is much to learn and a short time to learn it.
Infil, Exfil, Cover and Concealment, etc: I want the average Joe in my foxhole to know all that stuff.

What you’re saying would require a LOT of discipline and youre SO RIGHT about the scattered 100 million angry citizens who are not connected.

Soldiers in the field need ammo, clothing, food, money, intelligence info, medical supplies and/or treatment, a place to stay, etc. Even a 75-year-old woman with lots of medical problems could provide some of those. 3% of the population didn’t win our country by themselves, they had the active help of 10x that number.

We need lots of support folks besides the folks that will be actually be pulling the trigger.
People get the idea they can go it alone. They can’t.
People also get the erroneous idea that they do not need further training. They are incorrect.
I was in an operating room last week observing an operation. Against the wall were over 45 different kinds of suturing thread, for all different purposes. It made me think: If I had to sew someone up, would I know the most appropriate suture material in an emergency? Do I even know what all the different materials are and what they do?
The answer is no. I need more training.
Watching “Alaskan Bush People” with my daughter, I said I can’t butcher an animal. So I asked and she said heck yes she could. It’s a start hehehe.
There is so much preparing required, and so little time. There is a lot of psychological preparation needed too.
Butchering mammals is a skill that folks should know. But could you butcher your own cat? I have prepared my self emotionally for the eventuality.
