They then asked if I had any of the following maladies.

People keep saying stuff like this. I think the people saying it are overly optimistic.
Simply owning guns is not a solution. We need logistics, supply chain, training on a massive scale, and first and foremost the will to fight and die for our sacred cause.
Owning guns in itself does not make one a threat. It is the will to fight that makes a person a threat.
Frankly, to be brutally honest, I don't see it. Americans are soft, and that makes me sad.
Did you tell them about that unfortunate boating accident where all your guns were lost in the water?
