Someone help me out, I may be wrong, but why isn't the media APPLAUDING the history-making night?!

Seems to me that Donald Trump is the VERY FIRST MAJOR PARTY NOMINEE who was born in Queens New York!!

Therefore this historic angle is nonsense. Most presidents have wives. Virtually all of them unknown nationally as their husbands begin campaigning.

Sure. The party that nominated D. W. Eisenhower, Wendle Wilkie and U. S. Grant was not “major” in any meaningful sense. Nor was the party that nominated Zachary Taylor.

Though not an elected position, I would have to say that Dwight Eisenhower, in his various military roles, was definitely in the highest circles of politics. As Supreme Commander, he worked closely with world leaders like FDR, Churchill, Truman and others.

Ditto for U.S. Grant back in the 1860s who was the "Supreme Commander" of the Civil War.

I don't know much about Wendle Wilkie and Zachary Taylor. Maybe you have a point there.

I look at this with this in mind:

Trump is the first ‘non politician’ to win a National Party Nominee position;

Trump is the first person, in years, where there are no super packs, special interests groups backing him;

Trump is the first ever candidate to bring in over 4 million new voters, some of who have never voted before in their lives, to the R party;

Trump is the only person who has built his own company, from the ground up and is world known and a billionaire and associates with the American Working Class people;

Trump is the first candidate ever to fill large stadiums and arenas with thousands and thousands of people to hear his message;

So if history was ever made, it was made last night, by Donald John Trump, the next President of the United States of America, FOR the PEOPLE; BY the PEOPLE and OF the PEOPLE!!!

You know folks, the crowning of Hillary Clinton as the Democrat Party, POTUS nominee & the first woman ever, to run as a female POTUS candidate in the history of our country!!! This was a major historic moment in the history of the USA. But...it received only a light smattering of publicity across the country...mainly because, Hillary Clinton is a very weak, flawed, criminal candidate, across the board. She is not liked, honored, or respected widely!!!

Last night, prior to her boring, monotine, badly delivered speech, she looked like an aging overweight Grandma that has been eating and drinking, non-stop!!! And...to boot, her rally attendees looked and acted, like a bunch of street urchins, that might have paid to fill seats in a political rally where they were coached when to applaud or when to remain quiet!!! What a weird gathering of freak american citizens. I guess old Hillary Clinton cannot muster a decent crowd, without greasing the table!! Go Figure...folks!!!
