Quinnipiac National Poll [06/01/16]: Trump 41, Hillary 45
Quinnipiac University Poll ^ | 06/01/2016 | Tim Malloy

A titanic clash of the sexes leaves Democrat Hillary Clinton with a small 45 - 41 percent lead over Republican Donald Trump in the race for president, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today.

When third party candidates are added to the mix, Clinton gets 40 percent with Trump at 38 percent, too close to call, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 5 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 3 percent.

Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont leads Trump among all American voters 48 - 39 percent, but trails Clinton among Democrats 53 - 39 percent.

In a Clinton-Trump matchup, men go Republican 51 - 35 percent, while women go Democratic 54 - 30 percent. Republicans back Trump 86 - 4 percent and Democrats back Clinton 90 - 6 percent. Independent voters are divided, with 40 percent for Trump and 37 percent for Clinton.

Yep. By November 1st the vast majority of polls will be on target, and anyone claiming otherwise will be in for a kick in the teeth on election day.

And many women still are in love with Bill Clinton. They voted for Obama over Hillary Clinton because he was a different flavor but that doesn’t exist now.

Last night, I came across a game show from a few decades ago. It pitted three celebrity couples. A question: “Men, with whom would your wife love to have dinner? Ari Onassis, Frank Sinatra or Ted Kennedy?”

Two of the couples matched correctly with Ted Kennedy. The third was Gary Collins and the beautiful Mary Ann Mobley. Collins said “We are Republicans so I know Mary Ann won’t choose Ted Kennedy...” At that point, one of the male celebs (Dick Gautier?) jokingly walked off the set. Collins was correct in his match with Mobley.

Many women casually loved Ted Kennedy and the same holds true with Bill Clinton. Two womanizing politicians who humiliated other women. Some things never change.

Trump should win in a landslide. If he doesn’t win in a landslide, ( which is not really a possibility he will win ), then it means the republic is officially finished and the Free Traitor™ - MSM - Socialists consortium has won. Nothing you or I can do about it.

It’s only May and Trump will win. Don’t be such a Debbie downer already, I kinda notice that about your postings.

good for you. What does that have to do with the 20 point gap in women voting for hillary?

does your exception suddenly make that all better?

Almost within the margin of error. It’s not much different than the other polls that show a statistical tie.

Both my wife and sister are strong conservatives. They would gladly accept a repeal of the 19th amendment. The feminization of America is a cancer.

Me, too. Plus Trump made this 56-year-old lifelong democrat switch to republican in March to vote for him April 26.
BTW, I would be willing to give my franchise/suffrage if it meant having a strong, competent leadership in the White House. I pray enough women will awake and do the right thing this November!!

I believe this poll is inherently flawed. There is no way Trump is only pulling 6% Democrats, men by only 16%, and Independents by only 3%. All that and Hillary is only up 4 in an RV poll. Her numbers are terrible and she should be very concerned.
